Terblanche Total Property Solutions now offer Property Auctions
Posted: 6th May 2010
In a move that will certainly be welcomed by many, Terblanche Total Property Solutions will be introducing property auction services to their clients from 1 June 2010 through their auctioneering subsidiary, TTPS Auctions. Deon Terblanche, Managing Director of the Terblanche Group says, “there is no doubt that sale by auction is certainly a very effective way to ensure that a property does not stay on the market for a prolonged period. In fact, the entire process, from instruction to sell to transfer of ownership can take place in as little as 4 to 5 weeks. Making use of a recognized brand to handle a property auction, will be to the advantage of the serious property seller”
Terblanche says, “We have established a solid and loyal base of clients in the last few years since our inception.” “Offering property auctions to our clients as a further method way of selling their properties in the shortest time and at the best price is a natural extension.”
Terblanche notes, “Many people believe that properties are only sold by way of auction if the seller is experiencing severe financial strain.” “Of course, this is not true. Bearing in mind that the average time a property stays on the market is now estimated to be around the 13 week mark, an auction provides a fixed date of sale for a serious seller. Internationally, property auctions are the preferred method of selling commercial and many residential properties.”
Terblanche explains, “An auction is a very transparent way of selling property and what you see is what you get. There are no negotiations behind closed doors, most bids are taken in the open and deals are concluded openly. The competitive nature of public bidding at auctions also ensures that a seller will obtain the best price the market is willing to pay for his asset.”
TTPS will specialize in auctioning residential and commercial properties in the areas of the Garden Route region of the Western Cape, South Africa where TTPS already have a footprint through their local estate agencies. Terblanche said property auctions in Pretoria and Johannesburg are also a distinct possibility, depending on demand by their clients.
Interested parties are encouraged to make contact with Deon Terblanche at info@ttps.co.za or on 044 691 3560.
